After a lifetime in Kyokushin, I have leveraged my training experience and insights to create programs that I believe will make a measurable difference. I am dedicated to growing a worldwide Kyokushin fellowship of like-minded and committed budo-ka with the goal of real mastery. At Sosai Mas Oyama’s last Branch Chief meeting in 1992, he raised the subject of what he called Kyokushin’s New Genesis. A rebirth of the broad-based approach to training. This approach encompasses not just the Kyokushin sporting aspect of tournaments but also every aspect of training that makes Kyokushin complete once again.
The Nine Week Program addresses this New Genesis comprehensively, covering the aspects of training actually taught and practiced by Sosai through the years.
That goes way beyond just tournament fighting which represents just a small slice of Kyokushin.

In one respect, dojo training misleads us. We train for safety in cooperation with a trusted training partner. Yet the reality of real fighting is a violent explosion with the objective of, when necessary, destroying the adversary before us.
